This Privacy Policy explains how 16 Personalities Test handles information when you use this independent self-test website.
Information you provide
The test does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, birth date, payment details, or health information. Your quiz answers are used to calculate the result shown in your browser.
Automatically collected information
Like most websites, hosting providers, browsers, analytics tools, and advertising partners may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring pages, approximate location, and interaction events.
The site may use Cloudflare Web Analytics and Cloudflare Zaraz to understand aggregate usage. Zaraz can forward selected events to configured measurement providers such as Google Analytics 4, subject to the applicable consent settings. Events cover quiz start, broad progress milestones, completion, result-guide visits, sharing channels, and history controls. They do not include individual question text, selected answers, names, email addresses, or locally saved history records.
Optional local test history
Before the first answer, the site asks whether you want to enable local test history. The answer controls only this optional history feature. You can continue and complete the test whether you accept or decline.
If you accept, the site stores up to 20 recent result types, dimension scores, result names, and completion dates in your browser's local storage. When a twenty-first result is added, the oldest saved result is removed. Individual quiz answers are processed to calculate the result but are not included in the saved history record. The history feature does not upload these records to the site.
If you decline, no test history is saved. The history entry remains visible with an Off status so you can revisit the choice later. Declining does not block or limit the personality test.
Advertising and cookies
If advertising is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads, limit ad frequency, measure performance, prevent fraud, and personalize ads when permitted. Visitors can manage Google ad personalization in Google Ads Settings and can use browser settings to block or delete cookies. The local test history choice on the quiz controls only first-party history storage; it is not an advertising-consent mechanism.
Google may receive and process information when its advertising or measurement services are used. Learn more from Google's Business Data Responsibility site. Where required, advertising consent must be collected through the applicable Google-certified consent management process.

Data retention
The current quiz experience does not require server-side account storage. Optional local history remains in your browser until you delete an entry, clear the history, disable the feature, clear site data, or the browser removes it. Technical logs and advertising or analytics records may be kept by service providers according to their own policies and legal obligations.
Your storage choices
Open Test history to view or delete saved results, clear the complete list, or disable history. You can also select Storage choices in the site footer to show the consent prompt again. Disabling history removes the locally saved result list and withdraws the stored choice for this feature. Browser settings can also be used to clear this site's cookies and local storage.
